“Eva de los Santos: A Journey of Music, Passion, and Inspiration”
Eva de los Santos, affectionately known as “Mommy Eva,” is a dynamic singer, content creator, and performer, born in Bohol and now based in Cebu City. Her musical journey began in her youth and has since flourished into a multifaceted career spanning decades and continents.
In 2013, Eva gained national recognition as a contestant on the inaugural season of The Voice of the Philippines. Auditioning at the age of 51, she wowed the coaches with her rendition of “Proud Mary,” earning a spot on Team Sarah Geronimo. She progressed to the Battle Rounds, where she showcased her talent and passion, inspiring many by proving that age is no barrier to pursuing one’s dreams. Although she was eliminated in Week 4, her participation left a lasting impact on viewers.
Beyond television, Eva has an extensive performance history, captivating audiences across the Philippines and in international venues such as Singapore. She is a proud cum laude graduate of Cebu State College, where she earned academic honors, and has been recognized with the prestigious Perlas Award. In 1994, she represented the Philippines at the Midnight Sun Song Festival in Finland, securing second runner-up with her self-composed song.
Eva’s talents extend beyond singing; she has also made significant contributions as an educator in both local and international schools. Currently, she continues to perform at corporate events and specially produced shows. As a content creator, she shares her love for music and life with a growing online audience, inspiring others to pursue their passions at any stage in life.
